Colegio De Las Navas to Open Satellite Campus in SJTHS
San Jose Technical High School thru Dr. Jaime A. Cabili, Jr., school principal, gladly announced the good news to the "Carangianons" on the opening of satellite campus of Colegio De Las Navas (CDLN) in the Municipality of San Jose as a community-based college. The said endeavor is based on the joint memorandum of agreement approved by Department of Education- Northern Samar Division and the Local Government Unit of San Jose thru Mayor-Elect Damian T. Luzon, Jr. granting the CDLN to expand its campus to San Jose Technical High School.This extension program of CDLN aims to bring tertiary education closer to the community of San Jose and other nearby municipalities.
In a Career Guidance Orientation and Enrolment Campaign held on June 22, 2022 at SJTHS Hall, Mr. Gregorio M. Orsolino, the Administrator of Colegio De Las Navas, informed Grade-12 students along with their parents about the rationale of community-based college. He also explained the different school services and opportunities offered by CDLV to the community.
For more than 17 years of continuously providing quality tertiary education, CDLN has been committed to deliver the Career Needs of the Province of Northern Samar; hence, CDLN offers five (5) degree programs to basically meet these demands, such as:
📍Bachelor of Elementary Education,
📍Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, Social Studies, and Special Needs Education,
📍Bachelor of Science in Criminology,
📍Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management, and
📍Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
"This endeavor will bring opportunity to the people of San Jose for a quality and accessible tertiary education to all", Dr. Jaime said on his message during the orientation program. "This will likewise help alleviate poverty rate in the locality since expected professionals are to be produced for this cause", he also added.
In regards to CDLN enrollment, the college administrator will be announcing anytime soon on admission requirements for the incoming freshmen enrollees for the School Year 2022-2023.
