Laid to be an undeniable truth in life are the up-beating trials that hampers our desired quest and victory. There rests tedious and wearisome pain and tears that weakens our reliance and hope towards our visionary goals and self-directed aspirations. Yet faith holds us to persists and be stead amid difficult situations all rooted within our inner drive to succeed and be the lighted beacon for those who are dearest to our hearts.

Indeed, the epitome of this end of school-year rites leans back to what your dreams and ideals have whispered since the cognizance of your being. The honor and prestige of what your graduation cap and gown bear, symbolizes upon the sweat and hard-earned efforts that you all have worked for throughout your academic studies. Meaningfully enough to speak, yet all these achievements are nothing but part in the realization of your visions and aims in life. 

The theme for this year’s commencement, “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Matatag na Edukasyon” shows the resilience, agency, and grit of Filipino learners honed by a solid basic education system responsive to the changing needs of time. It likewise highlights that every learner’s achievement mirrors an education that succeeds amid all difficulties. 

Bilang nagtapos sa mataas na paaralan sa taong ito, kayo ay may pinakamasalimoot na pinagdaanan dahil sa COVID 19 pandemic. Kayo ay umaangkop sa MATATAG Agenda ng ating Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon. Naranasan ninyo ang makabagong mukha ng pagkatuto yoong NEW NORMAL EDUCATION na kung saan kasali ang inyong mga magulang, pamayanan at paaralan sa larangan ng pagkatuto. Dito mas naiintindihan ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan upang makamit ang adhikain. 

Dearest completers and graduates of Batch 2023 of San Jose Technical High School, be a dreamer of hope and achiever of love and integrity. Dream big not only for your own but also for the welfare of your family yet achieve it with character in the solitude of love and harmony. The ride maybe ragged and bumpy but keep on holding unto first why you have been dreaming. Keep your focus and let God be the pilot of your journey. 

To the proud parents of our completers and graduates, never give up into the dreams of your children. Be their guide and the source of strength as they walk through life’s greatest challenges ahead.

To the faculty and staff, of this humble institution, thank you for making ends meet with the highest sense of collaboration and professionalism. As your school administrator for nearly five months now, I have seen how you’ve worked diligently and accomplished all the tasks with grace under pressure. Truly, an organization is deeply at ease if there is someone willing and committed enough to bring her members to prosper. Let us continue to work harmoniously and build a brighter San Jose Technical High School in the coming years. 

In the end, let us all be reminded by Ralph Waldo Emerson words of thought to ponder, “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.”
