SJTHS holds Moving Up Ceremony

By Christian T. Evangelista  San Jose Technical High School held its Moving Up Ceremony last July 10, 2023. Three hundred eighty-five (385) completers received "Katunayan" as conferment for the completion of their K to 12 Junior High School Program of the Department of Education (DepEd). DepEd officials who were present in the ceremony are the following: Dr. Racquel G. Perfas, district supervisor; Ma'am Myra L. Bato, SJTHS principal; Diana Flor D. Eco, JD, principal of Geratag Elementary School; and the school's department heads -Myrna M. Madronio, Marilyn M. Añonuevo, Myrna T. Madronio, Jaime L. Cerbito, Eduardo C. Añonuevo, Jr., and Jake P. Salazar. Mr. Arphil A. Evaristo, CPA, an alumnus of the school, graced the occasion as the guest speaker. SJTHS to offer STE Program for incoming Junior High Freshmen

San Jose Technical High School (SJTHS) will be offering Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Curriculum Program for the incoming Junior high school freshmen for School Year, 2022-2023. The said curriculum program is based on the Division Memo no. 171 s. 2022 released by Department of Education- Northern Samar Division mandating the San Jose Technical High School as one of the six (6) selected schools in the entire division to implement STE Curriculum Program.  On this manner, the SJTHS Principal, Dr. Jaime A. Cabili, Jr. entrusted Mrs. Marilyn M. Anonuevo, Sci-Math Department Head, and her teaching force as frontrunners of school in the implementation of STE curriculum program. Indeed, the school administration and the said department worked together to comply all the necessary requirements for the approval of STE program in the upcoming school year. “Krizzia Ann Loyang Tanabe: Truly an Inspirational Woman to Look Out For”

The road to empowerment and success goes back to one's own roots. This woman exemplifies excellence, compassion, humility, and empowerment. With all her numerous success and reputable achievements, she never loses sight of her humble beginnings. Born in Barangay Geratag in San Jose, Northern Samar, Krizzia Ann Loyang Tanabe was left in the care of her grandparents while her mother worked overseas. Her life was so difficult back then when she was a child. Her grandfather earned a less than two hundred pesos in copra farming a day which certainly could not suffice their family needs. Thus, she helped her grandmother to sell snacks just to support their daily living. Dried fish and instant noodles had been their staple food for they could not afford to buy their favorite ones to eat. With all the circumstances she encountered, Krizzia was still eager to surpass all those challenges. She used those trials as her inspiration to continue her life despite of their
